Draw From Live Models With The Worcester Life Drawing Group

The Worcester Life Drawing Group hold weekly workshops for anyone who wants to practice figure drawing from live models. Easels and tables are provided, and classical music is played while the group draws. The poses start with two minutes and gradually increase to fifteen minutes as the evening progresses. There is a fifteen minute break in the middle of the session. For further information call Sid Solomon at 508-852-8860.

A show of Monotypes & Monoprints by artist Jacqueline Ross at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Gordon Library has been extended until the end of November. The gallery is on the third floor of the library. Library hours are Sunday: 12 noon - 12 midnight. Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 12 midnight. Woodcarving artist Clive Hamilton - Slideshow

The classic, sensual shapes of woodworking pieces from the mind of artist Clive Hamilton are on display now at the Park Hill Gallery 387 Park Ave Worcester MA. Clive works out of the Arch Angel Woodworks co/op on the third floor of 98 Tainter Street where he teaches wood carving workshops. Talk to him for more than a minute and it's easy to see how passionate he is about passing on the art form that he truly loves. Clive can be contacted at 774-364-4075.
