Local Photographer to Host Event to Benefit Breast Cancer Research

North Oxford, MA (February 10, 2008)- Award-winning local photographer Teya Rutherford is helping support the battle against breast cancer, one portrait at a time. For the second consecutive year, she is holding Portraits for
Progress, a portrait event to celebrate the bonds between women and raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. This year, the event will be held Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13,
with most portraits available in time for Mother¹s Day. For $50, daughters, mothers and grandmothers will receive a portrait session and two
professional 5x7 prints. Additional 5x7 prints will be available for purchase at a 50% discount off normal prices."I am expecting my second daughter, which this year has made me especially
aware of the bonds between mothers, daughters and sisters," said photographer Teya Rutherford. "I'm thankful to be able to give back to the
community while celebrating the sisterhood between women." Last year, Teya Rutherford's Portraits for Progress event raised more than
$1,000 for Susan G. Komen¹s Massachusetts affiliate. Teya hopes to match or exceed that amount this year to help fund breast cancer research, education,
screening and testing. To reserve time for a photo session, mothers and daughters should contact Photography by Teya at: Phone: (508) 892-0107 or (617) 480-6153 Email: teya@teyaphoto.com Web: www.teyaphoto.com
